The highly anticipated iPhone iOS 18.1 officially launches next week, introducing Apple Intelligence and AirPods Pro hearing tests and aids, but attention is already shifting to the upcoming iOS 18.2, currently in beta and set for a wide release in December. This new operating system will feature daily Sudoku puzzles for Apple News+ subscribers, with three difficulty options and a scoreboard to track stats. Apple News+ subscribers will also gain access to Sudoku with the release of iPadOS 18.2, and a similar launch is rumored for macOS Sequoia 15.2. In addition to Sudoku, iOS 18.2 will expand Apple Intelligence with features like Genmoji and ChatGPT/Siri integration, as well as a child safety feature that can blur and report nude content. Apple News+ is available for $13 per month and is often bundled with Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+, and iCloud storage.
