There’s time for one more Armageddon for Amazon’s Good Omens but not much, as it was announced that Good Omens would return for one final season with only one 90-minute episode that will begin filming in Scotland soon. Author Neil Gaiman, who co-wrote the book on which the series is based with Terry Pratchett, will continue as the show’s executive producer, writer and showrunner for the final season, although he will not work on the production. Gaiman has faced sexual assault allegations, leading to a pause in pre-production for the show’s third season and his offer to step away in September. Good Omens stars Michael Sheen and David Tennant as Aziraphale and Crowley, who team up to prevent the apocalypse. The show began as a limited series in 2019 and gained popularity, leading to a second season in 2020 with added cast members.
