Peripheral maker 8BitDo has announced the release date for its 64 Controller, designed to pair with the upcoming Analogue 3D console supporting 4K output. Pre-orders for the $40 controller are now open, available in black or white to match the Analogue 3D, with shipping starting on March 19. Resembling 8BitDo’s Ultimate controller, the 64 Controller features one thumbstick and six control buttons, along with four bumper buttons and two trigger options for the Z button. The peripheral boasts a Hall effect sensor, metal joystick ring, and Rumble Pak, compatible with both Analogue 3D and Nintendo Switch, as well as PC and Android devices. With similarities to the original N64 controller, the 64 Controller offers a more practical design for N64 game emulations. Additionally, pre-orders for the Analogue 3D console have opened, with the option to purchase the black version separately if a controller is needed.
